It’s easy to get carried away with the talking points of your business or brand but it is important to remember your goal is to become a Leader-member of your community rather than becoming a dictator of it.
When you post something to a social network or add a new piece of content to your blog your are opening up a two-way line of communication. As the Leader-member of the community it is important to start and encourage the dialogue, sending sure signals that you are opening the line of communication.
Sometimes the conversation can go the wrong way or negative feedback or responses can occur. As in any real-life professional situation it is important to respond to any negativity or criticism professionally, responsibly and with a certain degree of humility.
