Facebook is bringing their new Timeline style profiles to Facebook Business & Brand Pages. Many big brands are already on board like ‘The Muppets’ (Featured left), Coca-Cola (Featured Below) and many more.
The New graphical improvements, post positioning & communication features should greatly enhance the experience between Page Admins & their community.
Here are the Key Features:
A very large 851 x 315 pixel image that clearly communicates your brand. Click on “Add a Cover” near the top-left of your Facebook page, and choose “Upload Photo”.
There is also still a spot for your logo in the traditional profile photo box approximately 180 x 180 pixels. Click “Edit Profile Picture”.
New ‘About’ Section
The section that used to be on “Info” tab on your company page is now top, front and center right there to make a first impression.
New Post Controls
You can now pin a post to the top of your Facebook page for up to seven days and change post dates, which is great for highlighting popular content. You can take it a step further and “star” a particular post which will increase the size of the post to the full width of your Facebook Page.
You can now organize notifications, messages and stats in one place in the Admin section. Your can feature key events like product launches and grand openings to flesh out your company history.
Control Posts on the Activity Log
Facebook’s new Activity Log will let you manage your posts. This administration panel lets you hide and reveal posts, “star” posts to feature them, and change post dates.

Stats and Activity in Admin Panel
You can now receive private messages from Facebook users which can alleviate customer issues and complaints from your Facebook wall and puts them in your inbox where you can easily manage them away from the public eye. The Notifications tab keeps your notifications about likes and comments all in one place keeping it separate form your inbox.
All of your public interactions with your community will be seen near the top of your company page.
When will it go Live
All Facebook Pages will be automatically updated to the Timeline on March 30th.
How do I get it?
