Most of us running a Brand or Business want more Fans, Followers, Likes +1’s and any other Social Networking Endorsements.
There are many services out there that offer a way to buy love from the Social Networking community. But what is the value in a paid fan or follower? What is the purpose of Social Media and does paying for percieved Social Endorsement defeat the purpose?
So how do they end up pulling it off? Will my Engagement really increase?
The answer is Yes and No…but mostly NO.
These companies create a massive database of Fake Social Networking accounts and try to pass them off as real people. They have programs and sometimes managers that operate thousands of fake accounts in which they use to mimic and engaged Social Networker’s behavior.
If you want Social Endorsements so your brand LOOKS legit, then these paid Social Engagement services might be for you. If you want true engagement where your content and brand has a chance to spread then there is no real shortcut to working with what you have and trying to attract Social Networkers via advertising and engagement with other communities.
