The Android Gingerbread has made a substantial mark on Android users and Android developers. The new figures shows that it has a percentage of 38.2 of the Google OS-powered devices. The amount of growth based on its percentage is quite impressive and it is almost at the same amount of percentage with the previous version of the Google OS, Froyo 2.2
Though Froyo 2.2 still remains the most dominant Google OS for Android devices which is at 45.3 percent. Overall of all Google OS-powered devices, Android 2.1 still has the highest amount of percentage because most devices are built on Android 2.1. The Android Market statistics over the last two weeks shows an elaborate illustration between Android smartphone and tablets.
Honeycomb version of the Google OS is just around the corner and will be the Android OS for tablets.
