As far as Google+ Profiles for your Business or Entity, Google says that they are opening the test period to all and “accelerating their roadmap” to launch Profiles for Entities very soon.
The Google+ Team also strongly recommends to avoid creating a Business or Entity page on an individual account most likely to avoid the mess and confusion of the Facebook Page versus Profile dilemma a lot of Businesses got themselves into.
Google is looking to create a type of profile for Entities that would be much different than the difference between a Facebook Page and Profile and integrate rich analytics, adwords capabilities and other features to make this type of profile ideal for Businesses, Brands and other Organizations.
High profile accounts like the Social Media Blog “Mashable” had been created on individual accounts and later deleted by Google suggesting to use only the individuals name, in this case Pete Cashmore their CEO would need to keep his name on the account until they release Google+ Profiles for Businesses.
