Renay San Miguel, host of Splash Media’s Splashcast noticed a and interesting tweet in his Twitter stream which noted that every day, 46 years’ worth of YouTube video is watched on Facebook. In addition Twitter has made Video more accessible with their latest interface update this past fall.
The time is now to figure out how to tell stories and communicate through video.
Businesses of all sizes can take the growth of Video on Social Media as an indicator that the time is now to figure out how they can use video to promote their brand.
Why not use a Video Welcome on your Facebook page when a customer Likes your page? Or send a short link to a video on YourTube that demonstrates what your company and/or service is all about? Just try to limit them to 3 minutes and they need to provide benefit to the viewer and be of good sound and video quality.
