Social and Search are mixing it up these days. Google feels like it’s losing momentum with it’s search platform relying purely on a secret algorithm where as Facebook is pioneering the Semantic Web by gathering data on what it’s Users ‘Like’ with the Like button. Google is being forced to consider other ways to promote listings within it’s search engine is looking to add a human element to keep things relevant. Google is moving towards the realm of Recommendations similarly to Facebook Likes with the +1 Button.
